Every sunset in the deer woods tells me a different story.
This one was taken from my stand overlooking a Holmes County cutover during deer season. While many people think hunting is only about harvesting a deer, it’s moments like these that keep me coming back.
The quiet woods, the anticipation, and the beauty of a Mississippi sunset remind me that some of life’s greatest blessings are found when you simply sit still and take it all in. This is home, and this is why I love deer season.
